Just a heads up... ran across ad in the RL classifieds of a used set of PSS9s for sale from Gert. With the many posts lately of people wanting to upgrade suspensions, I thought some of you might be interested.

Randy,
I think used would be okay if they haven't been abused. Knowing Gert, if he says they are almost new, they most likely are. If interested, email him and ask. He is fantastic w/ customer service.
1400 EUR is 1858 USD by yesterday's conversion.![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Hi.
I would trust him.
He told me H&R coilovers are good for about 50k miles....my guess is that these are good for about the same time.
My interactions with him have been flawless. If I needed them, I would buy them now. For the record, I have NO relationship with him at all. Just bought a front protection bar from him that does the job it was intended to do.

Another thing to consider is that if they are purchased through an authorized Bilstein USA dealer, then they come with a lifetime warranty. I am not sure about the one purchased in Europe.

Gert's Reply. Basically they are new. I don't know anything about the warranty. The price difference, $300.00, from brand new is really not as significant as one would hope.
Hi Randy,
Attached is a high resolution picture of the kit.
As you can see, the kit is new except for one of the rear shocks.
Even the springs, bellow, nuts and perches of this rear strut are new.
Let me explain the full story.
As you might know, we are a Belgian Porsche part supplier and we export
to
every corner of the planet. A lot of our customers are Americans and
yes, a
lot of them are Rennlisters.
We had a customer in the US who had a faulty rear shock : The
adjustment
**** rotated 360°.
To shorten the out-time of his 993, I took a rear shock from a brand
new kit
that I had in stock and shipped this one to him. He later returned the
faulty shock. I send the shock back to Bilstein in Germany for
replacement
under warranty, but instead of shipping me a new one, they overhauled
the
shock.
They kept the housing but changed all the internals.
So it is basically a new shock in a 8 month old housing.
For that reason, I can't sell the kit as a new one anymore.
We ship with Fedex. The shipping for the kit is 100 Euro.
If you are interested, I can take the shipping for my account as a
discount.
Thanks,
Gert.
