Post Spoilers/Rims/Exhaust for the 993 C4S

Does it serve a functional purpose at all? What about the whale tail? I'm thinking since it doesn't have the intercoolers like the turbo, it's pretty much for show.

Also, what are the offset/width specs recommended by the majority of 993 C4S owners out there? Any pics you guys have of a car with all of the above?

Do BBS LMs come with good specs for the 933 C4S? I want no rubbing, full lock, full compression even when lowered to eliminate the wheel gap.

One more thing: any recommendations on aftermarket exhausts that aren't too loud and do not suffer from power loss?

Many thanks,

have you done a search? you will find answers to most of your questions there.

just some advice to a newbie...do a search first before you post a question...there are a bunch of grumpy old-time Rennlisters who will tear you a new one if you haven't done a search yet!!

After driving over 135 mph I can tell you that while they look good that is only half of it.

IHMO, I would do these:

RSR muffler. Sounds awesome.
Lower the car. PSS9's if you have loads of cash, H&R/Bilsteins otherwise.
Wheels. A reputable wheel shop will know the correct offsets. You can get 8.5 in the front and 11's in the rear without any problems.

11s in the rear! any issues with putting undue stress on the diff/tranny with so much more rubber than stock? how much do the stock rims weigh? i don't want to slow it down any with added unsprung weight.

thanks for the welcome. and yes, a search would be useful but you guys are so on top of your game i assumed it'd be no sweat for y'all.

BenjaminKC...careful to NOT assume things around here...a search would be advisable first. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />
