Will OE 996TT wheels fit 993 C2S widebody?
Hi guys,
I tried a set of 996 GT2's, the fronts were perfect, but the rears are offset too far outboard. The 12" width was actually fine, good clearance inboard, just that the offset outboard was no good.
The 996TT rear wheels have the same 45mm offset, and with an 11" width, it just might clear the fender fine.
I'm sure somone's tried this already, so better I ask first than drive a distance to do a fit check.
Thanks for your input!
Happy Holidays!

Thanks. I thought they'd fit, just wanted to check first.
Now, here's another question, has anyone run a 9.5 in the front successfully? If so, what offset works with the widebody to fit and still steer properly? I ask because I want to run a 245/315 setup with custom 3pc in the future and want to scope this out as well. While we're on the subject then, what is the best width and offset to run that 315 in the rear?
I have 235/315 on the car right now w/the GT2 wheels, but again, the rear offset isn't quite right. The 315s fit though, so if I can peg the offset and then get a 245 up front, it should be a pretty well-balanced setup in the future.
Thanks again for input from your experience.
