Talking My winter project

Winter started here in Belgium so the P car will stay warm inside and this is of course the perfect excuse to change some things...

Mods already done
3.8 engine
full carbon interior
PSS 9
Alu shift + handbrake
Short shifter
Full Techart exhaust
Techart chip
motorsound with K&N
TT euro front
Alu doorsills
etc...

The last picture is how it looks now.

So these are the mods that (if the $ allows) I'm going to do.
Complete rear seat delete
Turbo s scoops
Rs side skirts
racing seats
Rs wing or C2S split grill. For this I really need your advice because I can't make a decision. Any input would be great.

TIA

While I like the split grill, I like the wing even more. Besides, based on your progress so far, I'm thinking it is only a matter of time before you install the splitters up front anyway.

Is it possible to put front splitters on a euro turbo front bumper?

Good question - I don't know the answer to that one.

Nope, but you can attach the Turbo S front spoiler for a more aggressive look

Your car looks great, love the color. If it were mine I would go with the split grill and either Techart or Gemballa side skirts instead of the RS skirt - I think these would bo much better with the turbo bumper (same with the RS tail).

The turbo S front lip is a very good idea I think. Does anybody has a picture of the gemballa and techart side skirts?

For the Techart side skirt check out Jbuchsba's red 993 in the thread "Forced to sell my dream car...". A renlister also has these on his black (or dark blue) cab. The Gemballa skirts are more aggressive...larger rocker and has a faux air scoop....can be seen on the Gemballa site and in their catelog.

Agree with Dave on the split grill, though I'm not a huge wing guy. I've always loved the look of your car, especially the color. Thought it was funny though about the "if I can afford it" comment after the 3.8l upgrade, the full techart exhaust...

Mods sound great! I would go for the RS wing personally...

I must say having lived in Belgium though that "winter" was not exactly a real hardship... If you want a good reason to put your car in hibernation, come on over here! ;-)

Cheers;
Eric

I'm pretty sure the 3.8 was a factory upgrade on his car... just FYI

Mark,

The 964 turbo s will not happen. I informed myself at my porsche dealer about this trade and they said that is it's not a 964 turbo s Leichtbau it's not worth to trade (it's a 964 turbo s2 worth +/-37,000€).

Father of 3,

The 3,8 upgrade was done by the PO (factory).

Regards
