Default First Post--A thank you...

Hi all! I joined Rennlist sometime back, primarily to post my 1984 911 Turbo Look for sale. Well that is now gone (after 10 years) and I am now enjoying a 96 993TT. Complete with Andial 3.8 motor, H&R suspension, roll bar, Stoptech Brakes. Having a great time with this car. Have been lurking this and the Turbo board for a while, picking up technical bits and other floatsom. Thanks to all for your help (you didn't even know you helped). BTW, had the car painted recently (6 weeks in the shop) and that included all new lenses, headlights, and windshiled. Windhiled creaked like an SOB! Just did the Pedro's last night and today no creaks.

Hope to meet you on a run soon. If any of you make it down to the Newport Beach unofficial Saturday car show at Crystal Cove center (Starbucks is open at 6:30 am) look for me. Usually attend...

Have not had it on a dyno, but it is supposed to be putting out 571 HP or more in stage 2 setting on race gas. On pump gas, must be around 475-500 hp. The Andial set up has a toggle switch on the center console to switch programming from insane HP to totally insane HP. Also, Boost gauge replaces driver's side AC vent.

Great looking car... and all the mods sound even better. BTW, I've never heard of StopTech brakes... how are they different from stock BigReds?

Stoptech brakes are absolutely awesome! Pedal feel, modulation, grip, no fade. What more can I say? Their rotor design is superior to anything out there as far as cooling and air flow and their caliper design is much more rigid than the the Big Red or Brembo upgrades. Stoptech is being used by many teams in various series, including Turner Motorsports, winner of Speed World Challenge sedan series. I hope this does not sound like an advertisement. I know all these guys...

Anyway, contact them for the scoop. They have a website...

Yipes. The car looks great, and the mods are very impressive. I hope we can meet up on one of the drives, or even at one of the track events... I wanna see that bad boy run! Welcome to the Rennlist.

So Cal has some monster 993TT's. First CJ, then Addison, now Dan, and all of them black beasts. We need to get these cars together for some fun!
