Post Rear window squeak

I'm developing a squeak emanating from the rear window. I can make it go away by pressing upwards against the rear window while driving. For those in the know, Is this fixed by the cord repair kit? Is the cord installed in the seal inside the car or fitted in the outside seal?
Thanks in advance.

Cord/silicone fix is done to the rear window and it's placed under the outside rubber moulding. At least, that's how the Porsche tech fixed my squeaking rear window.

Good luck.

Reviving an old thread My rear glass recently started squeaking so I wanted to check in and see if other solutions exist. If the Pedros product is still favored I'll need to track some down.

Any good bicycle shop should carry the Pedros's product.

So I take it that the common squeak is the result of the rubber gasket moving in relation to the body? Hence the lubricant?
