I am also a RSR muffler owner and had a smooth pleasureable transaction with Robin.

I also agree with others, I think the dead beats should be outed.
I doubt they are on this board but who knows.

Hey Robin,

Can you do your thing on a pair of 993 B+B Tri-Flos ?

Also, I know your web site said no 964 version but can you consider it at some time in the future ?

Thanks,

Patrick

How does the RSR muffler compare in sound to other mufflers? (Fabspeed, B&B, Factory Sport, etc.) Is it louder, quieter, smoother, raspier, burbles, etc.? Thanks

Definitely Robin's mufflers are of high quality workmanship. Also, they are quite light. However, I have had tried both Fabspeed maxflows and the RSRs and for my tastes, I like the Fabspeed because it is louder and deeper sounding. The RSRs are more subtle, but definitely an improvement over stock. The maxflows are very high quality as well. They are not very loud, but they have a nice deep sports car sound, and you definitely hear them more than the RSRs. Hope this helps.

Maxflows are a notch above RSR in terms of decibal level. The supercups are about 10 notches and are extremely loud. Although I like the supercups sound, they are too much for everyday driving.

I too have an RSR exhaust and I love it. The sound is perfect (aggressive but not LOUD). The work is first rate and dealing wtih Robin is a pleasure. I like everyone else am disturbed by the deadbeats who have victimized Robin. Let's hope they realize the error of their ways. Mike W

The Fabspeed Motorsport MAXFLO 993 exhaust is a set of hiperformance mufflers for all 993s. The system is 100% T304SS and uses 2.125" mandrel bent intake and outlet pipes and the mufflers are 2.5" internal U bend type mufflers.

This 993 MAXFLO hiperformance system is adds power and offers more sportscar sound than factory mufflers or Robins RSR 993 modified stock OEM Porsche mufflers. They are a hiperformance stronger sounding alternative system. The Fabspeed systems comes complete ready to isntall with true oval edge welded Porcshe optional tips. The RSRs, TechART and others dont come with tips or make you reuse the factory tips. Fabspeed will have a systems soon in which you can use the factory Porcshe tips incase you have the only real nice set...which is the oavl chrome TechEquipment tips.

The Fabspeed 993/996 exhaust is without any doubt the highest quality interms of materials, construction, welding, and show car mirror polishing that shines everywhere!

The SUPERCUP 993 exhaust is a catback exhaust that is intended for very aggressive sportscar sound and "GUNG-HO" track adventures or guys & women that want a super strong aggressive Supercup sportscar sound.

For 90% of 993 owners the Maxflo is what we sell. For the 10% others they must have the SUPERCUP system. Some customers get both like DJ and others. Have a Happy Holiday!Performance for the Next Millenium --Fabspeed Motorsport

Joe,

I may not be the best person for you to use as a reference, as I'm liable to tell the truth.
