He'll even autograph it for you. I wonder if Anna K will be around when the buyer shows up to take the car.

I made the same mistake
last month, and was lucky enough to drive a 2002 996TT. Took my wife with me as well. Not only am I a convert to the 996TT, but she is too. So my dream car just doubled in price...But it just HAS to have the GT2 nose and spoiler. Standard TT front and rear are very blah. (oops - no offense to others, my opinion only <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> )

AJ,
I'm hooked too. The 996tt really did a number on me. I can't believe how much I love the car and likewise, the wife really likes it, as well.

AJ,
While we are dreaming might as well just splurge for the GT2!
I got to ride in a 996GT2 with 500miles on it at a track event recently and man what a car that was. Made my poor 993 look like a snail down the back straight.

Since we are coming out of the closet . . . I also love the TT!
Unbelievable car! Now it feels like the lowly 993 is running on only 3 cylinders.
I'll take the GT2 Club Sport though.

It's my understanding that many '01 and '02 996tt owners are trading in their cars for '03s, since the X-50 option is now a standard option. Previously it was limited to 50 US cars.

OK what I don't understand is if you have the millions upons millions of dollars that Fedorov has $$$$ why would you even bother to sell it? I mean the maintainance costs would not even be a drop in the bucket, he could park it in the garage somewhere, and let it colect dust and it wouldnt even be noticeable on his bank book. 1500 miles! I could put that on in a day, these guys don;t even appreciate these cars!

Well, if you're at home only half a year... And when there... You have two or three hockey practices a day... and when you're finally able to be home, Anna K. is there and needs attention... Now you do the math...
But it's true that these kind of people propably don't appreciate these things so much.
