Default OT: Rims/tires for track/street FS...again...

Here I go again...but with reduced price.

In the classifieds: 7 and 9 x 17 rims from a 99 996-C4 which I used for my 993 track days. Same 55mm offset as the 17"Cups, and feel about same weight. No center caps included, and they look really good for track wheels with just a few scuffs and nicks, but nothing major, and can easily be cleaned up for street...defnitely straight and true and cosmetically maybe a 7-8/10. Mounted are 225/45 and 255/40 MPSC that have been used a grand total of ONE weekend!...and you now how pricey these things are. Email for pics if interested. I'd prefer local sale in SoCal area as these are big and bulky to ship, but it's up to you. Buyer pays shipping, but I will drive and deliver a reasonable distance.
$975. or best offer
... Doesn't anyone wanna start tracking their car
Oh, and still have those Performance Friction 97 brakepads for the track ...how's $100 sound? ...anyone....

Thanks all!

Edward

Edward,
I may be interested in those pads. I'll get back to you tomorrow.

Will those wheels fit an 88 Carrera. If so I will be very interested. I could drive down to your place and see if they fit.

Thanks for the interest, guys!

Randy,
Check with those who know offsets. I can't recall what they are on the Fuchs (6/7 or 7/8). Mine are 55mm offset, so I would "assume" (often a bad idea ) that you would need mondo spacers and longer wheel studs. Someone's gotta know the skinny on this. But if you're still interested, we'll deal!
