Post UK Rennlisters Meeting - Wed 30th

Hey Guys,

Is the meeting still on? Who's going?

I should be able to make it, unless there is too much on at work (but that shouldn't be the case).

Tito, still up for getting there together?

By the way, what was the name of the town the pub is in again?

Cheers

Although it should be called Chiswick roundabout because it's at the end of Chiswick bridge I think it's officially 'Hogarth roundabout'. See you there Francesco plus anyone else who wants drive down together.

Mags

I think the petrol station on HOGARTH ROUNDABOUT is a Texaco station (I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm mistaken !!!!).
I'll see you in there.

I'm planning to join you guys, but might not be able to bring the RS unless the SO-2s I ordered today (due Wednesday) and are fitted.

Following an airfield day on Sat I completed skinned the rear tyres, requiring a call to Mondial to recover the vehicle home.

Boy was it wet

Yes Francesco, I think it is a Texaco station (apt place to meet with the rate I seem to consume petrol ). Look forwards to meeting you all.

Hi Riccardo,

I am definately on for meeting up and driving down together.

Where and when do you want to meet up?
What about Brent Cross outside John Lewis in the car park? I am open to alternatives.
I will be free from 6pm onwards in the Barnet area. My mobile number is 07796693434.

Anyone else in North London or the North, want to join us?
Tito.

Red face

Guys,

Sorry I couldn't make it to the meet tonight, my car is still in the repairers. I had to send it in to Porsche for examination. Apparently it has an oil starvation problem (according to Porsche GB's chief technical guy). Hope you all have a good time anyway...

Yep, should be there, getting lost permitting

Oh, and assuming my car starts - the battery is knackered. Been dodgy for a while now, and now won't hold charge if left for more than two days without starting. Should be picking up a new one Thursday.

I also owe John a few beers for helping out with the HID install.

Rob,

I sent you a private message, but incase you didn't get it - you haven't missed the meeting yet as it is tonight (wednesday) !!

If you can make it, it would be good to see you again. 4x4s are allowed in emergencies, and I will be in a VW (its still German !) as I can't get my car out at the mo.

See you all tonight then.

Cheers,
John.

P.S. Mike McGinty, sold that number plate yet ???

Tito,

Brent Cross sounds like a good place to meet up in.

I leave the office at 5.30, get home 6.20 hence be at BC at 7ish. Is that good enough for you?

If I have any problems I'll let you know.

See you all later.
