With the receipt of the Turtle goodies, I remember thinking how bad I wanted to go last year. I marked my calendar for June 18-19, 2005 and was wondering if maybe we could organize something where we can get some members to go and have at least a place to meet if nothing else. I don't think it's too early to start planning. Anyway, I thought I'd throw this out there to see if it sticks.

No it sounds like the right time to me.. talking to a friend who wants to take the Eurostar (UK) down; I was quite tempted to race him there in the 993.

I'm planning a roadtrip with a few others down to Lemans next year. Probably other cars than Porsches also included. If rennlisters like to join somewhere in europe, I'm sure it can be fixed. Otherwise we'll meet at the track

Actually at first the idea seemed new - but then someone mentioned the DB9 race to Monaco (I think it was Monaco!) and it clicked.. subconciously I'd related it to that. It's not that far but, yeah what the hell!

I'll meet up with peeps at the track - it'll be the first time I've actually met any Rennlisters!

After checking flight prices, I'll probably end up in a tent. Is there any place cheaper to fly into in Europe in the summer?

you might be able to hitch a ride with Mike in Chi. Rumour has it, he rented a gulf-stream to get there. I think he even rented a Villa....or did he buy the villa?
