could you guys with tinted windows please send me or post a pic of your car - im trying to decide on my tint - thanks... also have any of you just tint the rear of your car leaving the front two windows and flywindows clear ?

This is the maximum allowable legal limit in the state of MD. (Actually I think it is a couple points over but the officer who inspected it was a nice guy and gave me the benefit of the doubt.) Bought the car in Florida - if that explains anything.

BS911--wow thats dark. When we had our Volvo's windows tinted, the tinter said he has some tint that is virtually clear but blocks something like 93% of UV rays. Way cool tint for someone who doesn't like the look of tinted windows...

For those of you who have tinted their 993's, did you tint over the Porsche Alarm decals etc? Or, did you remove them first?

What's involved in getting it done?

 

Atlanta_Kevin - That's a nice look on your car. My car looks very similar to yours (without the tint) in terms of color and wheels.

 

Aside from making your AC more efficient you will also save your interior from sun fade.

when deciding how dark to go, keep in mind dark colored interiors will yield a darker tint effect looking from the outside in. Just passing along a tip from a few people I know that tint windows.
