I thought some of you would find this excerpt interesting. It is from a Los Angeles Times article about the CEO of 24 Hour Fitness.

"Mastrov doesn't flaunt his success, associates said. A likely multimillionaire, he does enjoy front-row seats at professional basketball games, and recently bought a house valued in excess of $4 million. But Mastrov is satisfied to drive a 7-year-old Porsche and considers a good time playing a pickup basketball game with employees at 24 Hour Fitness clubs he's constantly visiting."

If he's driving what we think he's driving, then we know why he's satisfied!!!!

Funny. I think I read somewhere that Bill Gates drives a 964.

I know for a fact that he has at least a 959 and a 996 cab. Knowing his interest in the marque, I wouldn't doubt that he has (or has had) a 964, but I've not heard or seen him drive one of late.

Most of the time that I happened to visit the building he works in, a Lexus has normally been in his parking spot.

Bill Gates has several cars. He purchased four 959's
( One in possession) Paul Allen has one as well. Bill helped bring
the 959 into legal import status under the new law unofficially
called: "The Bill Gates Bill" which permits importation of exotic
import restricted super cars. I think the other three 959's are still
stuck in customs as result of attempts to back door them. He also
has a white 944 turbo, a 964 Cabriolet, a 930 turbo, a 993 TT,
and other P-cars of which I've forgotten. He has a full-time employee
who tends to his collection.(A real tough job) Unfortunately, he
doesn't get to drive them very often and the Medina Police are
always waiting to pounce on him. One Medina officer lost his job
for ticketing Bill for speeding and driving with an expired license.
Bottom line.... Bill rules!

I didn't think he had a sense of humor, so I thought he'd be a natural for a 993.

However, if he'd like to buy a race team, I know of one that hasn't been for sale, but for the right price, it's his.

Profits will be split equitably among the team membership. I'm sure the team founder, given his Solomon-like wisdom, will determine what is just.
