We were once talking of buying old motel (that was for sale) and some forrest area around it & then building enduro trails into the forrest area & have some are dedicated to motocross track.
We'd then organize enduro MotoX weekends, weeks for groups & individuals with lots of riding & then after ride activities (Sauna, swimming, beer & so on... <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" /> ).

Of course we never pursued seriously & later found out that after a while, the motel was manily occupied by russian hookers...
Well, at least there was some kind of riding going on!

I agree with the beater car idea myself. With someone on here driving a 90K miles Blazer, I'm driving my 230K miles Jeep Cherokee. I'll probably be driving that car to 500K miles if I can get it there. Keep the 993 as your weekend car and get a beater for about $1K - $3K. You'll find a ton of SUV's that are 7-10 years old for that kind of money, I see them all the time with "For Sale" signs in my area.

Maybe you'll have less down on the new house, but spread over 30 years (assuming 30 year mortgage), the price of the 993 will be spread out anyways over the 30 years.

Or if you do get the bigger house, either rent out a room to a boarder or get a hosue with a separate gust house or in law unit and rent it out. you'll come up with the extra money some how. That's what I did when I bought my house. Had an extra bedroom and rented it out. Where I'm at, I get $800/month to rent out a room. That's my car payment and insurance and gas for the month for my 993.
