From the PCNA web site.

"This valuable document includes your vehicle's original factory specifications, production completion date (Birth Date) and manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP)."

They have and example on the site: http://www2.porsche.com/english/usa/...thenticity.htm

You only get a $10 discount if you are a Porsche club member.

WOW....!! Whata an excellent bunch of information, folks. I am so excited that I have become a member of this board. Truly a wunnerful group o'folks. I've made notes regardin' my codes....and my inability tew view "sixes" as "beez". Tough gittin' old, I must say.

I went on the Porsche site where the Certificate of Authenticity was downloaded via Adobe.... from what I saw, I would not pay $10 (US) for that piece of paper. Maybe I'm wrong here, but I didn't see it as being worth very much indeed..

Thanx again..... now, if I could only 'resize' my photogz so I could show my beautiful P-car.......arrrrrrrrrrrgh.......

Certificate of Authenticity.

The certificate is quite thin on info about the car. No prices.
Lists: Model Year/Type
Engine Number
Transmission Number
Ext Paint Color
Int Material Color/Type

Optional Equipment.

Mine lists the options but does not have the factory Aero kit listed and the PO ordered the car with this option and it is on the car. So, what gives? I don't know. He says he has the sticker and will send it when he finds it. I believe him. Very straight up guy. I will compare the two items when it arrives.

Does your option sticker under the hood list the aero kit code?

There is a duplicate copy of the option sticker glued into your maintenance booklet. It's easier to read this in the house rather than looking up with a flashlight in your trunk.

Thanks Bruce for emailing me the file mentioned above. If anyone wants a copy, email me or download it directly from here:
