Here are the prices on a 97:
2dr Convertible Carrera $73,000
2dr Convertible Carrera 4 $78,350
2dr Coupe Carrera $63,750
2dr Coupe Carrera S $63,750
2dr Coupe Carrera Targa $70,750
2dr Coupe Carrera 4S $73,000
2dr Coupe Turbo $105,000
2dr Coupe Turbo S $150,000

I don't think my car came from the factory with the aero kit, it doesn't have the option code on the sticker. I don't know if it was added by the dealer or afterward. If the price of 96k was correct it would seem it was done by the dealer.

Bruce, I'll PM you with my email address. Thanks!

Here are some other options I have prices for:
Big Ovals $611.00
Aero kit $7,047.00
Motor Sound $332.00
Alu door sills $432.00
Floor mats $110.00
LSD/ABD $1,253.00
Floor mats $110.00
Heated front seats $578.00
Power seats package $1,004.00
Rim caps (Porsche crest) $166.00
Stainless steel exhaust pipes $697.00
Sport seat - each $365.00
Litronics $1,536.00
Full power seat - each $564.00
Lumbar- each $551.00
Rear wiper $357.00
18' Technology rims $3,229.00

Guys..... I think this is TERRIFIC! Whata nice bunch of folks that are all concerned about "The Car" and the people that love 'em. I'm .... nearly.... speechless!

My 1996 CAS has some of the stuff listed ... like:

- X71 Aluminum instrument dials
- 159 Motor sound pkg.
- 329 radio (?)
- 425 Rear wiper
- 437 Comfort seat (left) I would assume I have a "right comfort seat"?
- 454 Automatic speed control
- 490 Hi-fi sound system
- 692 (which I tho't was B92 on the bonnet sticker) Remote CD changer

Then, there seems to be some "stuff" I can't figure out. Perhaps I can't read properly with my flashlight under the bonnet... but, this is what I see:

- B50
- B55
- B80
- B92
.........could the "Bs" be "sixes"? Dunno....
and 09991 Mnfg from exclusive programme (?)

But, I also have:

- Floor mats
- On board computer
- Power seats (2 buttons on each side... both seats)
- Litronics
- 18" twisted spoke rims
- C4S wheel rim caps

BTW, what are "Big Ovals"?

Thanx, again guys.....

09991 is a custom item from the mfg. It could be anything from deviated stitching to a custom color. My guess is those are 6's, not B's but check out P-car.com. Also, you can call 1800-porsche, give them your vin#, and they will give you the factory option codes. They can't decode them for you but they can give you the codes. What is really weird is that sometimes they don't match up to the sticker. Like I said, weird.

I'll look at my sticker tonight and post what I have but others have posted lots already.

I was able to obtain one from the selling dealer of the car I bought. What was explained to me was the original owner gets one and one goes in the dealer file. If You can find the originating dealer they may still have it in a file.

Bagger,

I'm not 100% but 99% sure that Porsche didn't use B- or 8-series in their options program.

- 329 is RADIO BLAUPUNKT TORONTO SQR 48 RADIO "PORSCHE CD-210"
- 438 is COMFORT SEAT RIGHT

If those B-codes are 6-codes then:

- 650 is ELECTRICAL SLIDING ROOF
- 655 is ELECTRIC FOLDING ROOF CONTROL (I dont get this one, this is for the 944 series....)
- 680 is DIGITAL SOUNDS PACKAGE (Don't know if it's only for Turbo or if it's the Turbo version. Have to look into that.)
- 692 is Remote CD changer (6-disc)

I'd have a second look if I where you at the codes. Doesn't seem to be correct to me.

- 601 is Litronics.
- 659 is Onboard Computer for Carrera versions.

Often a 6 looks like an 8, then you might have:
- 660 is OBD II

The X71 is not only Aluminum instrument dials, you also have brushed chrome inner rings

- 09991 is exclusive code and could almost be anything. Do you have/had a mobile phone hooked up perhaps?

Hope this gives you some help with your codes.
Cheers

Rassel.

Found the print outs..actually two of them. I was doing a lot of research before there was a Rennlist! I have all kinds of info from my search for a car.

I will send out the emails tomorrow after I scan the printed pages. I hope they can fill in the gaps. Maybe I can grab the text and put it into a spreadsheet. We'll see!

Cheers

I was lucky to have the 2 previous owners keep EVERYTHING. Odd for a 100K mile car. But here's the sticker:

1997 C4S coupe 73000
Arctic Silver 1036
Floor Mat 110
AM/FM Cassette n/c
Sports seats painted to match 1287
Aluminum instrument dials 1096
Brake/shifter carbon/aluminum 830
Aerokit 7047
Head restraints w/ Porsche crest 194
Sport chassis 672
Motor sound 332
Racing style sport seat left 365
(ditto) right 365
rear wiper 357
Rim caps w/ Porsche crest 166
Hi-fi sound 930
6 disc CD 813
Gas guzzler 1000
freight 765
Total 90365 (!)

Makes a GT3 look downright cheap.........

Just checked the PCNA web site, $110 for a certificate of authenticity + shipping of course! That is one expensive piece of paper!
