Eric,
The lights are great, but you'll find that we've all got the (very nice) kits installed and are moving on with othe rest of our lives.
We're all looking for the next mod and/or group buy to blow our funds on. It never stops....
Seroiusly, thanks for offering the GB and a VERY well thought out and professional kit. Your service and help was excellent. Today we finally had weather good enough to get my '97 home from storage - I'm waiting for it to get dark and drive with the HID lights for the first time.

did my install yesterday. the difference relative to the stock lights is quite amazing....
does anyone know what tool i use to adjust the lights? it looks like i need a (long) allen wrench but the owners manual makes no reference to it (and i've learnt not to second guess the manual).

Eric,
Atarted the install this afternoon. Ran into a minor problem. The new bulb did not fit into the metal housing. A quick file and blow-out (to get the filings out of the headlamp) and they are installed. Will be doing the wiring tomarrow evening. Everything is great so-far.

I totally understand the "mod bug". I am still going nuts on my C5. That and all the track days and autocrosses keep me occupied. Now I run this store as an additional "hobby"... always nice doing something you like eh?

Princeton... actually when I first received your order I thought it was a joke being played on me by my cousin.... His name is Princeton Chan.... then I looked at the order in more detail and figured it was someone off Rennlist

Eric (and Dan):
Wow! Drove my car last night for the first time with the HID's. Dan was right when he's preached about this being the best lighting option. What a difference!! Switching to the high beams from the HID low beams only marginally improves the lighting - that's how good the HID's are.
And they look so cool besides....

I did my HID conversion yesterday. The only thing I did not like about it was having to tear the gromets on both sides in order to get the two plugs and ground wire through. I also had to use a rat tail file to file the bulb holes on both assemblies. The bulb goes through but is very tight. Did the rest of you tear the gromets also?

You should be able to feed them through without tearing the grommets... I believe someone explained this in a prior post... you wedge a screwdriver in the hole and expand it... the connectors should go through without any issues......

Instead of tearing the big grommet, I cut the wires to put them through the grommet, then resoldered them, using heat-shrink tubing as insulation and anti-chafing protection. Looks great, and didn't take much effort.

Should have thought of the cut and shrink wrap bit, damn. The plugs would not have fit through the grommets holes without cutting. I tried and it was way too tight.
