Hey JoAnne,

Besides the other goodies you have in your garage, I really like Al Holbert's 962 in the background! I've seen that car race a few times in '86 and it was my favorite 962 back then.

Thanks Rich. Al actually signed it on the top. It is from a Liquor store display from way back when. It hung above the beer!!

Hal,

Your first arena turbo picture is really a great shot. I could be very effusive but will leave it at that.

Na, let me elaborate. The color is outstanding along with the exposure. It is framed beautifully in a great setting. Notice how the brown dirt "line" along the fence at the top of the picture coincides with the angle of the driveway, as defined in the lower left of the picture where the grass meets the concrete, to intersect at some unforeseen horizon on the left of the picture.

As the car heads towards that point the eye moves left, and you will note the driveway starts to dip, leaving the subliminal impression of speed... towards that unforeseen connecting point, like a dip in a roller coaster. The car has a slight angle downward that is just enough, again, to create the illusion of speed.

Did I mention the color? Look at that those colors pop, wow, with the top of the picture framed in a nice contrasting blue. The color of the driveway is so complimentary to the color of the car that you would think Armani had chosen it. The garlic plant at the front of the car breaks the otherwise similar landscape and, again, draws attention to the downward slope. Notice how the flax plant shows through the front windshield as if there were no windscreen. This draws attention to that area leaving the subconscious mind with a 3 dimensional impression. The plant looks like it is framed as a picture within a picture creating depth.

Now, the reflections on the car, well... just look! The lighting is fantastic, note that even the rear spoiler and bumper are lit up as if a reflector panel was shining light on the rear of the car. Also take note of the point of reflection denoted by four "star effect" points on the hip, spoiler, and the ones around the rear window. This draws attention to the sexiest parts of the car. And then there is the shadow under the car, again creating a great effect that is subliminal but frames the arena red while acting as a boarder between the driveway color and the car color.

Now... take another look at that shot and you will see what I mean.

Hal, great shot.

I will also note that there are many great shots here but I wanted to say something about this one in particular.

Thanks Phil. They are Kinesis K18's. They came with the car, so not sure about the price.

You know Toga, that is pretty scarry. It looks like a scene from Texas Chainsaw massacre or something. I especially like the S&M hood.

You my friend, are a quick study.

Hey Steve,
I like the white, looks good with your car. What's with you and Fred and the cups anyway?
