Default Getting rid of the bumperettes

Is there another method short of getting a euro bumper to delete the bumperettes? I was looking at the squarish hole left by the bumperettes and thinking how easy it would be for someone to fabricate a piece to fit flush and nicely into the hole and finish the bumper off with the longer european corner indicators. Not as clean as an entire euro bumper replacement but still nice nonetheless. I mean, if people can fill holes left by emblems and keyholes why not our bumperette holes? Thoughts?

My '99 Boxster had "bumper plugs" for the front bumber - found them on the web and on a Boxster we site, they might work but I am not sure of the relative sizes of the holes in the bumber. Try searching for the plugs and email the guy, he had them in all the Boxster colors.

John,

Very nice job!! Amazing. However that doesn't look like something I'm willing to attempt on my own seeing as that I have zero experience with bodywork. Very inspirational DIY though. Thanks for posting that. Again, wow.
