I also use the Wal-Mart Charger. It is UL listed, and works well permanently mounted to the battery. I made up a light gage extention cord that would not deform the rubber gasket when I shut the lid, as I couldn't find the switch for the trunk light. Thanks to Bruce's comment above, I now know where the switch is and hopefully can adjust it so the light will not come on when the lid is cracked open to the saftey catch.
