I DO read German :-)
The model starts as a Pocher Kit for 225E. Then add:
Aluminum Wheel Kits, either 85E (or 125E for one with 136 screws....probably replicates a 3 piece wheel)
Race Seat Shell 33E
Fire Extinguisher 29E
"BlackBox"...(ECU?) 29E
Lowered Suspension Parts 19E
Aluminum Roll Cage 29E
Front Spoiler 29E
Rear Wing 49E
Sport Steering Wheel 19E
6-Point Belts and Aluminum Pedals 20E
Racing engine cover/hood hold downs 13E (each? Doesn't specify)
Window Frames 13E
Carerra Script stickers 19E
Doors Sills (Chrome or Black 18E
I have seen these Pocher kits in various places. They are really awesome, but always seem to have been "superdetailed" by highly talented modellers like these guys. I don't think they sell parts....only completed models. It seems to be all custom work, so you could have them build an exact copy of your car.... The wheels are pretty awesome!

I beleive Pocher is out of business. I built many of their models mostly vintage cars. Quite detailed usually 2500 to 3000 pieces. Their models are collectable and there are a number of companies that updates or makes custom pieces to replace the factory parts with even more detailed engines, wheels, etc.
You almost feel like you are looking at the real thing. Very nice!!

Avenger, thanks.
Not sure I have time to build one with running my business, doing the art, and waisting so much time on Rennlist. I would like to have that one ready to go like that. Do you have any idea how much one like that, ready to go, would cost?
Thanks
mnmblu, Alan or hack, whatever you prefer.

If you check out http://www.precisionscalereplicas.com/new_page_2.htm at the bottom of the page the kit is available for $600. Just did a Google search for fun.

I have no idea how much that model would cost. however I have seen unopened Pocher kits selling on Ebay for the $500-$1000 range. Ususally the completed models sell for less, unless they are customized which this one appears to be so you probably are looking at over a thosand. Don't forget these models are about 18" long.

$600 is for the stock 993 kit. With all the extras and assembly on that kit you are definitely into $2k or beyond. One thing, I have several of the Royce, MB, Alfa and a Fiat kits that I built 25 years ago. They look as good today as then. They make great accents to a family room or basement under glass. I don't think I paid more than $100 for the kits back then which was considerable for the time. Assembly took months, almost as easy to restore a vintage 914 or 911 as it is to build one of these.

Want some more diecast fun... check out www.Exoto.com
I have the 934/935 Jagermeister set and the Sunoco 917 set (displayed under glass), and they are simply breathtaking replicas. Its amazing what they can do in 1/18th scale. Not cheap, but well worth the money if you are into this sort of thing. Fortunately for me, they only come out with new Porsche models every few years. Now waiting patiently for the 956/962 to be ready for production.

Three Wheelin'
I built the 993 kit in black back in '99 when I had my black '96. Still have it on display in the garage. It's very detailed & heavy. Lots of metal pieces. I think I paid about $ 250.00 for mine on ebay back then.

I have the Pocher kit as well-so getting the parts to modify it would be easier than starting from scratch. The Pocher kit is nice but does lack a lot of detail. There are detailing kits you can buy for the engine, brakes, etc...
eBay is a good place to look for the Pocher kits.

The Exoto models are very nice. Recently I had seen the GT40 Mk II on Ebay sell for $5XX thats considerably less than the reatil price of $798. I beleive there is a 993 model listed on Ebay for sale now
