Easiest way to remove rubber mark?
Just returned from two track days at Buttonwillow and washed my car. There were many rubber marks left that even hard rubbing would not take off. Is there any easy way to remove these?
Thanks

Three Wheelin'
I use my porter cable orbital buffer with 3M swirl mark remover, it takes off all the rubber marks. Hit the buffed areas with the wax of your choice and your done in 15 min.

Hi Randy,
I used to use "Goof Off" or it's no-name competitors (either available at any HomeDepot-like store) to take off the marks. Worked well. Now I use Wheel Wax, on a tip from another R-lister, and it is MUCH better! Wheel Wax takes off the marks w/o effort, has no abrasives in it (they say so specifically, and upon use I believe them), and the best thing is it doesn't strip off wax like the GoofOff stuff. And since WheelWax IS itself a wax, it's a one-step deal. You really got to try it!

Randy, if you are in a hurry to get this rubber off your paint, and dont have any of the above mentioned products, try some WD40, follow by some 409 to degrease and rewax with you favorite wax.
Really nice to meet you at Buttonwillow!
Oh, and you cleaned you car already??? Wow!

Thanks everyone for the advice. I had a little energy left when I got home so I decided to wash the car.
Jauder and Chris, it was great meeting you guys and hopefully we will see each other at another event.
Thanks again.

I use Turtle Wax bug and tar remover (spray on kind). Makes short work of any rubber marks. A friend of mine uses a product called DRI WASH (sold by franchises, not in stores). Its meant to do the whole car (he only uses it for rubber marks though) and it too appears to work very well....

FWIW, try a nice shiney coat of RejeX prior to your next track event...makes removal of ANYTHING but chips and scratches MUCH easier...most bugs just rinse off with water pressure and most of the rubber marks will wash right off as well.
My car looks like doo-doo after an event, after all, it's white...all of the suggestions above are great suggestions, WD-40, 3M adhesive remover, etc. A good waxing helps, I've found RejeX to do the best for making cleanup easier.
