I recently purchased a jar of WW to give it a try. The product is easy to apply, having a nice "not too thick/not too thin" consistency which spread nicely & it even has a decent aroma. I found it a bit harder to remove than I expected, but a mist of water made removal a snap. The initial shine is great & so far brake dust/dirt wipes off easily. It remains to be seen how long it will last.
I had 2 surprises - 1 pleasant, the other amazing.
Surprise #1: In addition to a wax/polish, WW is an exceptional wheel cleaner having, I presume, a good solvent component. I washed my wheels inside & out. At least, I thought I had, but when I used the WW my applicator picked up dirt my aging eyes hadn't seen. It even effortlessly removed some interior surface tar marks that I was too lazy to have removed w/mineral spirits.
Surprise #2: In talking w/Bruce (WW owner & a hard core car nut) we drifted
into discussing DEs. He suggested I try WW to remove the black streak marks left on my front end from thrown up rubber during track events. I've found those marks very difficult to remove & have been using 3M SMR & my PC buffer which is then followed w/my usual regime (Pinnacle/Zaino Z5/Z2) - a time consuming PITA.
Well, I washed the car as normal which, of course, did little to remove the rubber streaks. I then used WW w/my PC & all the marks were gone & the paint was left just as shiny as the adjoining recently Zaino'd surfaces. One step - easy on/off & it was as if the car had never seen the track. Even if I'd never use this product for my wheels, I'll buy it as the best cleaner/wax I've tried.
No affiliation, etc., but a must for you track junkies.

Dan,
The WW on my 17" Cups and find it holds up pretty well on my daily driven car. Been months now and the dust still comes off easily. Thanks for the tip on rubber marks. This is great news as I always hated using "GoofOff" which strips the wax, then I'd have to reapply wax. Thanks!

That's my point - there are many products that easily remove the black marks, but WW is one that leaves behind a shine & paint protection. Hopefully, both shine & protection will last. It's also practical (& fast) to use over a large area, like the entire hood. Those features impressed me.

Bug and tar remover and WD-40 works really well in taking off rubber markings. Dan, great tips with using wheel wax!
