Fred, are your wheels hollow? if so, there are potential problems with chromed, hollow wheels. There are threads on this topic. Now that I think about it, you may have discussed this already in past threads. I only bring it up because it could be dangerous if you were not aware.

Fo3, I don't think they are hollow, no chanel down the back side of the spokes. Thanks for your concern though - I have seen those threads.

Alan, glad all is well again.

Fred, the channels are on the solid spokes (to reduce some weight), and the hollow spokes are smooth around the whole spoke.

Fred, the hollow spokes will be smooth, the solids will have the channel.

A saftey issue is one of the best excuses, I mean reasons, for a mod. Thanks guys, better off those hollow spokes ASAP. What to do, what to do?

Fred, look at your avatar and see how nice and shinny they look with the beautiful color. Fred, if you must, just get some nice factory silver, like mine. They look so nice. The twists just seem made for a 993. especially cabs. So... what to do, what to do. NO to 17's Do you think I have an opinion on this matter???

more o.t......

fred... i still like the idea of goin' retro & doin' the 17's!!! esp. @ the right height w/ the 'row-mo30'... will look sweet. not to mention the handling factors you mentioned while burning rubber off my 18" 's03's' in the canyon run.

$$$ another thought would maybe be to simply take the ($600 or $800?)trade -in from wheel enhancement & step up to some 18" k-28's matte silver centers w/ a polished lip!... i think they'll even give ya the tires @ cost to boot w/ tire wheel packages.

btw: mnm... happy to hear all is good intha hood w/ ol'blu!

ah the good old days, when I had a 993 cab and some long lost friends. Anyone have Lavon's number, and know if he is still doing tops?

Freddie? Is that really you? No number for Lavon, but a hearty howdy to you.
