Talking Just Installed RSR's on My 993

Hello 'Lister's - Just wanted to share my experience with the installation of Robin Sun's RSR's on my 97 993 cab. First - why does a high end car like Porsche still use carbon bolts and nuts on the exhaust system!!! Mine were rusted - maybe welded would be a better term. I had to get out the Dremmell tool to cut the bolt heads off to pull the tail pipes and the original mufflers out. Had the same problem with my 89 911 when I installed a Bursch exhaust on it a few years back. Well once the new RSR's were on I was really pleased with the sound - not loud, just nice. Once again more kudos for Robin and his product - good product and good service! Robin really performs a great service for the owners of Porsche's.

Got mine installed finally today!! WOW ... like evryone says just perfect!!! I like the low end rumble and the fact that there is no resonance at all in the car on any gear or RPM. Kudos indeed to Robin for a fine product. They are just right. Keep the loud pedal planted on 3rd and that familiar stupid grin appears on your face again.

Robert yes I posted under my thread (claub racer pics) about what happened on Sunday! The car is back at Mikes for some additional massaging!

the RSR mufflers are terrific.

not too loud, but they open up a lot where you want the sound and the fury.

not many people in today' world who operate like robin or steve weiner, i.e. they send you the stuff before you even have time to send them the money in the mail.

I just put on Robin's RSR mufflers on my '98 993 convert. I originally started by installing one side and then listened to the difference between the stock and RSR's. You can tell the difference! Now that both are on it's porsche symphony again! Thanks for such a great product.

Don't you guys read these forums at all (there was exactly a thread & questions like this maybe couple of days ago)? Or know that there is a search feature on top of these pages?
