Default Any Arctic Silver/Chestnut Brown C4S's here?

Picked this guy up last week....100K miles from 2 owners. All stock too. Couldn't ever remember seeing Chestnut Brown before. Not my first choice, but I didn't want to pay for a garage queen that's going to be a commute car. All in all a really unmolested, original car.

I've always loved that interior color as it's so rich and ... oh to be different, right?!

Congrats. I also went with a high mileage car last year when I bought mine, but you got some NICE goodies with yours that I could have only dreamed about getting at the time (sport seats and aero kit)

Uhhh, how much, if you don't mind me asking?

Steve

Beautiful! A dark red (or chestnut brown) with silver is one of my favorite combinations. The silver back sport seats add the ultimate touch.

Agree with the others. A bold color that looks great with arctic silver. I am an arctic silver/black fan myself. If I ever get around to posting pictures...

Ken:

Congrats! I have full leather chestnut over white and enjoy having a unique interior color. Btw, I had intended to call about your car as I had seen it advertised - California Motors, correct? - this week. Thanks for saving me the trouble. Very nice indeed.

My car also came with sports seats, but they had black seatbacks.

Congratulations on the car!

No, I don't mind talking price-wise......it was $40K. That included some dealer reconditioning including a new set of S02's. So think $38K if I got to it first and bought it "as is". It was the car in San Rafael @ California Motors, and actually sold right away but the buyer couldn't get it financed.

He readvertised it, Craigslist of all places, and I thought I should at least look at it in person. I actually first spotted it on the lot a week earlier when I was test driving a Golf R32, but never stopped in. So this was about a 30 minute transaction, with about 5 minutes of negotiation. Someone was going to buy this car near asking price; I feel pretty confident there's not too much downside in owning it a couple of years.

I was really amused to see the red I was looking at described as Chestnut Brown on the window sticker. Had to tell my wife to just wait until she could see it in person. All in all this car is really, really, really clean.

Also, it did have a valve job/air injection carbon cleaning (plus clutch) @ 75K. Porsche did a 50% warranty on it. All records back to day one, too. And there really aren't many other than a bunch of oil changes. Alternator, brakes, tires. It could use some new rotors. Obviously the suspension is dead. Drives fine for a street car.

No, Jauder, no track use. Got the RSA (whenever that gets converted), got the 911 spec racer, got the Radical.

So this isn't the killer deal of any of my 911's.....I think RSA #2 in May @ $19800 is anyone's deal of the year (that I know of). But it's a good honest interim car for using 10-12K/mi a year.

This beautiful C2S was at the Peachstate PCA concours. If my memory serves me correctly, it had around 8k miles. I absolutely LOVE chestnut interior! Nice purchase!
