Mark D. was there in his yellow Radical...it is radically fast. Met a few other Rennlisters out there as well. PCA San Diego runs a great event, lots of track time.
There were a few off road incidents but with damage limited generally to bruised pride.
My Battery Powered Impact wrench with 100+ Ft Pounds of torque was the hit of the weekend, in my opinion.
I confirmed my suspicions on the 993 RS aero package...another post to follow.

It was a great event. Even the weather was not too bad. Mid 90's, while The Valley was 108 - we got lucky. For those interested, EJ has hosted a couple videos. Check the TracQuest Board for links.

It was rough gettting there this weekend, but we finally got to the POC event at the Streets. All of our guys did great, had a blast, some new personal best times.
Martin, you should have come over and ran with us too. Think of all the track time!
All of our drivers turned in 1:15's and lower, good job to Mark, Tom, Richard and Neil.
I do have to brag though, my son Eric who recently received his driver's license (turned 16 in March)ended up being the 2nd fastest car overall in the time trials. His fastest time of the day was a 1:12:63 on counterclockwise Sunday and 1:14 Clockwise on Saturday. He was so stoked, he never stoped grinning and talking. Mark and I are so happy for him, we are just afraid how much this is going to cost us. (Thanks for letting me brag, it's a mom thing)

WOW!!! Eric is only 16!! He looks so mature, must be good roll models in his life. Nice looking car that one of yours, not only fast looking but tough too!! Can I have a drive?? Just kidding!
I have to boast a little too. I was pretty happy to get my daily driver (o.k. Kuhmo's, PSS-9's and RS swaybars) into a 16.9 on Sunday. Now, if I could just get that limited slip, Hoosier's, 100 octane fuel, chip the engine, straight pipes, wider wheels...
oh the money one could spend, DOH!!! Kim, where are you with the money spending when we need you?
Cheers,
Dylan. <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />

Congrats to Eric, Laura and Mark - what a thrill. I guess it is time to say goodbye to whatever hopes you had of saving any money - but this will be more enjoyable.

We had lots of fun. Thanks to POC for opening the "Streets" up to PCASDR. I ran 3 laps, but was running out of tires. Think I might enter the short track series next year.
