Mike, thanks for the feedback. I actually have the parts at home, just need to find the time to install.

Adrienne, I also just got the shifter and fork, per Gert's recommendation. The rod more than doubles the price, though still not an expensive mod relatively speaking.

What is the difference between this mod and the factory shorter shifting travel (#241) option?

What??!?!? An inexpensive mod?!?!? Can it really be considered a mod at the $100 range? Woowee!! Definitely on the Xmas list now!

Ahh, that would be a no...

Graham, yes they can be installed on an AWD, but there is some clearancing (aka pounding with a hammer) that must take place on the tunnel of the car for clearance.
