Arthur.....
Probably the best source for the Silver Hood Crest is Ralph Boothe. He advertises in Excellence and does not do a core charge or return of your gold crest. I have NO affiliation with his Co. other than being a satisfied customer!
Cheers to All..... Robert

I will check the number tonight when I get home from work and post back for the PILOT lights. I got extremely luck that they fit so well.

The silver badge I bought from Pelican Parts. You do not have to trade your old one in and installation is simple.

Kim,

That thing looks quite large as well.

I think eventually, i'll just dump the dust shields and keep the hose where it is now.
Actually, making 2.5" adapter to stock shield wouldn't be that hard (if those being sold are too big), maybe I'll look into it later since that would make the end of the pipe more secure than what it is now (only zip tie).

Kim,

I had the OG kit on my 84 and 94 911s. It worked very well. The problem that I can see with our cars is with front end design and the under body is there enough airflow traveling under the car??? That is how these scoops work. I don't know if this is why they do not show a '95+ kit, or if the suspension that changed with the 993 series makes it impossible to use.

Bob,

We (at least me, who knows what Kim is talking about? ) are talking about hoses that run from the font bumper (from those openings next to fig lights). We'd only need tho dust shields that have adapter for duct to attach.

Do you know what size duct that kit uses?

Does anyone know whether that pipe where the duct connects to is in fron of the shock or begind (if behind, assuming it takes 2.5" size pipe, my current ducts will be too short. I gues I just should fabricate my own.)

Anyway, I think my set up currently is workable, but the extra "engineering" and strength what would come when using these shields with pipe connection would be nice. I'll do that, or either take whole shields out and keep the duct where it is (it needs slight adjustment but is quite ok, I think.

Anyway, here are some shots (sorry for forgetting the camera when I installed, would've been good to see inside the fender liner also):

The lights can be found at the link attached. The mounting bracket is not needed the light will pressure fit when installed with the two clamps already on the airduct. Pilot

Cool silver hood crest! I have been trying to change everything on my car to silver and black only and that would be a nice touch.

richfitz - I am trying to do the same thing as well on my car. So far I will be getting the silver Carrera emblem for the rear of the car, silver hood crest for the front, I just polished my mufflers tips so they look as silver as possible, got a silver Porsche license plate frame, and also looking into getting some silvery-finished wheels.

Ebay has some nice silver Carrera emblems from partwerks in chicago. The usually go for about $18.00. When I changed mine from black to silver I bought mine from them.
