Observation
993chaz:
I'm not familiar with this dealer or car. I checked out the pics on eBay. Looks real nice... I just bought a 1996 Cab with similar miles, so I would say buyitnow price seems to be in range...
I did notice that this car seems to have the same problem that mine did when I bought it. From the pictures it seems (you would need to verify...) that the rear spoiler wall is torn. This is common for these cars and is an easy DIY (see www.p-car.com).

Fluffy,
yes I noticed that, also noticed that the passanger seat is missing the lower plastic trim piece.......no big deal though. I spoke to the shop that did all the maintenance on it, said the brakes had just been replaced and all the service records are up to date. Apparently owned by a local doctor. He did say that the rear bumper cover had been replaced due to a light bump!!!

993Chaz, It’s not a Porsche dealer, but just a used car lot in a cheesy part of Houston. What is this antenna on the rear window and red LED on the dash next to tachometer? Lock button looks excessively worn out. Do you know who serviced the car? If you’re serious get it to Mike Callas, he’ll definitely help you out.
Regards,
Alex

Alex,
service has been done by European Autoworks of Houston. Ya, I noticed the worn lock button, the red light is apparently a radar detector warning light. No info on the antenna.

Couple other things I noticed:
1. The cigarette lighter piece is not the original - no big deal here
2. The bottom botton on the left side of the climate control unit is not the correct one (I think). Mine has a smaller snowflake for normal AC operation and the top, bigger snowflake is for max AC. The one here is another recirculation button, just like the one on the right...
Not sure if these mean anything, just somethin I noticed.

993chaz, these guys are not too far from where I live, about 10-15 minutes out of downtown Houston. They have kind of a mixed reputation around town. Definately get a good PPI, I'm sure they get some OK cars but take it upon yourself to verify that.
