Good Independent Referral in Houston for PPI ?
Hey guys, I need a good referral for an independent to perform a PPI on an 86 cab, supposedly a "10", for a friend of ours. (Someone I try to keep happy, our lawyer 
)
Car is located in the Houston area.
Any names and phone numbers ??

Why don't you try Mike Callas at Rennsport in Seley, Texas (or is it Sealy? I can't remember the spelling...). Seley is a town very close to Houston.
He is Tony Callas' Dad and I worked with both Mike and Tony when I was with the Reiser-Callas ALMS race team. Mike is a super Mechanic and would tell you if this car was a "10" or not. I'd trust him with all of our cars.

Laura, if you do a search through the archives for Houston PPI, you should come up with two names, over and over again: Mike Callas, and Viking Sjovall. I've had my car at both places, know them both from track events, both are very good, and very honorable.

Robert is Mike Callas as good as Viking? I figure if I'm going to pay someone to do a PPI I better get it done right. Also how close is Mike to RPM Sports Cars?
I've tried Vikings number for the past hour and haven't been able to get through, the phone continues to ring without answer. I'll try around lunch time in 20 minutes, hopefully I'll get through.

Mike Callas is extremely good. You have read all the archives & past glowing reviews/comments, right? He's out in Sealy, about 30 miles west of Houston, so usually it's a case of having Ray flatbed the car out to Mike for the PPI. You can't do any better than Mike's PPI. Viking is closer, also very good, but as with everything in life, it's good to have multiple options.
