I think the five-spoke wheels are beautiful!
It seems as though EVERYONE has the twist wheels, so I say - "be original"!! The 5/S's are unique and will set your car apart from most others.
And I believe that once you drop her down, you'll appreciate them even more!
Good luck!

When in doubt stay w/the original...I like the look of the twists. The are fuller and have a "more substantial" look that compliments the aggressive look of the 993. On the "leaner" 996 I think the 5 spokes look great

I went from 18" Turbo Looks to 18" '02 5 spokes so you know my vote. If you need an objective tie breaker, the 5 spokes are less unsprung weight. Maybe not that important for driving, but its been very noticable to my back when I remove the wheels. Oh, at highway speeds the 5 spokes almost "disappear" - like fan blades - looks really cool. The 5 spokes are also more marketable should you desire another change

I like the Turbo Twist wheels on your car, just my opinion. I may be upgrading from my turbo twist wheels also, just not sure what will look good with arena red on a C2S

I dunno Dan, just MO but, your car looks pretty darn sharp with those TT's...
Vic, I've been looking at your photos for awhile now and I think your cab will look great either way... Since you already bought the 5-spokes, I say keep 'em.

Do you know what the weight difference is between the '02 5 spokes and the Turbo Twist HOLLOW SPOKES ?? I just put the HS on but now thinking the
5 spokes would look better..... I'm never freakin' satisfied
Vic....I like the 5 spokes....it really freshens up the look of your car. Seriously, you need to drop that puppy...the sooner the better. Altogether, you have a beautiful car. Guards red on the cab is downright gorgeous.

Tradition... TT. They look great on your car and are much nicer than the cups that came with it so you have already done the upgrade. Sell those babies to 996 owner.
I contemplated the same thing and went with the TT and am very happy I did.

Vic-
I feel your pain. I too have technolgy wheels on my C4S and considered the 5 spoke. I think the problem is that they are too close in appearance.
If I'm going to change my twists than I will go to HRE's. I think there will be enough of a difference for the car to truly take on a different feel.
I like both the twists and the 5 spoke. Either way it looks great.

I like the TT. For some reason when I look at your car with the 5 spokes, the wheel well looks hollow, like it's not "filled out". Perhaps that will change when you lower the ride height, but I think with your color combo, the TT looks better.
In my opinion, the 5 spokes were made for, and look better on, the 996 and Boxster.

Mu vote will be for the lightweights. I think it looks very nice, classy yet menacing at the same time. Transplant your crest center caps, and, as you said you will, lower the car... a good time for PSS9's?
