Question Workshop Manuals

Does anyone have a used set or Workshop Manuals for sale at this time or know where I can buy a set used. I'm not interested in buying the CD version.

Thanks, Ron

You checked on <a href="http://www.my-porsche.com?" target="_blank">www.my-porsche.com?</a>

How about E-Bay?

Ray,

I emailed the folks yesterday at My Porsche and asked if they had them in stock and ready to ship. As I recall the 8 volume set was listed at $287.

As for ebay have not seen any real recently and I have been watching since I have 4 different Mercedes manuals up for sale there right now.

Thanks, Ron

Saw these on ebay this morning... Not much cheaper than new, though.

If purchasing used, make sure it includes all current supplements. IMO, a good reason to buy new for generally a small difference in price.

Thumbs up

Chis,

Thanks I can not believe I missed seeing those. They are being sold by a person with no feedback and since I don't know who that person is I'm a little hesitant. I'll also check with My Porsche again tomorrow and see whether their manuals if available have the supplements that mo mentioned.

thanks, ron

AFAIK, the myporsche.com sets are supplemented, at least mine were. The occasional ebay sales that I've seen have usually ended close to, or even higher than myporsche's new prices. Also try Panorama, I've seen sets for sale there for less.

Ray,

Quality may cost but if you are refering to the manuals they are not available at My Porsche.

The 8 Volume set part number WKD-483-121 is on backorder. I spoke to Mike at My Porsche and he does not know when he might receive any.

I've checked Suncoast as well as 4 other Porsche dealers and they all say the same thing Mike did.

I used my $100 PCA coupon to buy a set. Ordered them on August 29th. Still waiting to receive them.

It wouldn't surprise me if Porsche only reprints them when a certain level of orders have been received. If so it could be a long wait. I wonder if Porsche Customer Commitment 1-800-PORSCHE would assist you in at least estimating the wait.
