Well after waiting along time trying to decide which suspension I was going to go with, I finally did it. Thanks to everyone on this board because I couldn't be happier with the end result! I went with the PSS9s and the RS swaybars with monoball uppers for the rear. I currently have the RS bars set at the middle position both front and back and they feel pretty neutral. I guess I will play with those adjustments after Thunderhill. I had them installed, aligned and corner weighted at Roger Kraus Racing in Castro Valley and they were great to work with. Roger was very professional and really knew his stuff. I brought in the RS specs and some compromised alignment settings that I got from posts that Viken, DJ, and a few others had posted for a happy medium on both track and street. Roger and I agreed on the settings and they nailed it. I would highly recommend taking your car to Roger because they do excellent work. Currently the car is touch above RS ride height and it looks great! What a difference between the standard US ride heights. The handling has improved by an order of magnitude and this is how you expect a Porsche should drive. The initial shock setting of 9 is a bit too underdamped for my taste, so tonight I changed it to position 7. 7 is much better with just a hint of kick back on the rebound. I would imagine that either 7 or 6 would be the perfect setting for everyday on the street. I will be experimenting with different settings on the track. I will post some pictures if I can figure out how to upload them. Thanks once again to everyone for all your help.
Steve
Ps: Now with PSS9 and RS bars!

Steve, I agree w. you on the ride height. My RoW M030 doesn't have the correct rake -- lower in front than in the back :-(. I was gonna gripe to Mike Callas (who did my last alignment), until I looked at the shock collars on the front & saw that they look completely spun down.
R&R the rear units to try & shim them lower is too big a PIA.
So I have four-corner ride height adjustment envy!
(Wishing my shocks would die so I can do this mod, too).
Oh, why did you only install monoballs in the rear?

Oh MAAAAN!!! Of topic, but I had that bad feeling I should have got the 993 RS 18" rims from Gert rather than the RUF CTR 18" rims!!!!
Your car looks absolutely fantastic Steve!

Steve,
I know it's not scientific but could you give me a height measurement from the ground to the of bottom of the fender - as measured thru the center line of the wheel.
Also when you lowered the car do you recall the specific amount that it was taken down? 35mm,40mm,45mm etc?
Thanks much

Steve,
Thank you for a great post. I'm about to take the plunge myself.
I'd appreciate it if you could post your alignment settings, and your source for the monoballs.
Do you wish you had installed monoballs in the front as well? (Robert, I suspect he went with monoballs in the rear due to the potential perch mating issue)

Why do you people keep doing this to me!
I'm developing a bad case of PSS-9 envy.
Did you decide in advance to use rear monoballs because of the installation issue some have raised, or did you actually have an installation problem and cure it with monoballs?

Thank you guys for the nice complements.
Robert, Anir is correct in my reasoning for doing the monoballs in the rear. I knew about the possible fitment issue going into the install and I just didn't want any problems later. In talking with many people, they suggested that I do monoballs with the camber plates in the front only if I needed to get the extra neg. camber. If I didn't need this kind of additional adjustability then don't do it, so I left them out. I am running fairly mild neg. camber anyway for both track and street.
Anir, I got the monoballs from Dan at Windward Performance. They were really well made. Here is where I ended up with my alignment settings:
Front:
Camber -1.0 deg
Caster Max. (LF 5.5 deg RF 5.9 deg)
Toe 1/32"
Rear:
Camber -1.5 deg
Toe 1/16"
Brad, the rough measurements currently are about 24.75" from the ground to the very bottom of the fender roll. This measurement is all the way around. It started out at about 26.75" in the front and 26" in the rear.
Don, I provided the monoballs to be installed. I wanted to avoid the possible issue entirely.
Cheers,
Steve

Congrats Steve!
I love my PSS9 setup. Like you, I went with rear monoballs (Techart) because of the fitment. I would recommend Gert's front protection bar as your next addition. It has saved my front end numerous times riding on our SF streets at RS height, especially around P Heights, Lombard street, and my driveway. Those parking curbs are also bad on the front.
The bad thing is now I'm thinkin' of 18" rims like yours, an ECU from Steve W, G50/21 trans with a light-weight flywheel, LS Diff,.......
ACK! it never ends! Going to the GG Swap meet tomorrow at Carlsen to get a fix.
