Best all around tires?
I am thinking seriously about switching to Bridgestone S03 but good friend of mine is recommending Advan AD07 (not sure if avalible in US) and the new Conticompetition C1. Any good idea. My usage of the car is basically 90% street driving (frequent hard driving) and 10% track.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I really did not like the S03's on the track - they overheated easily and became quite slippery (and took alot of wear off the treads in a short time). Check the thread on Kumhos - alot of us like the MX's - cheaper and better than S03's in my opinion...

I've been using Pirelli P-Zero C's (now called Corsas) for 3 years with good results. They are being fitted to a lot of productions models lately (e.g. Ferrari 360 Stradale). They are fine in the wet, but I do have to go slow in a heavy downpour due to the reduced groove depth.

I have had three 993s 1 C2 and 2 C4S'ssssss.....I never had anything other than Bridgestone SO2s, I loved those tires, they work very good on the track, on the road and in the rain......That said. I recently switched to MPS's.....And I would not go back. They are super tires........

Oh, the PS2s didn't come in my size..so I am sure they too are great tires

I tried the SuperSport Race 2 years ago and thought they were too noisy for daily driving, same as the P Corsa or maybe a bit more. If you use your car on a daily basis it might become annoying.
So far I like the MPSC the most, disregarding best performance (which I think they are equal, based on my lap times). I do believe however that they might perform better in the wet than Sport Cups.
Edit: Just saw that Viken already confirmed that.

You can buy them from either the Tire Rack or your friendly local Michelin dealer. Pretty much all of them match Tire Rack prices these days anyway.
