Post Picture Needed Urgently

Could someone e-mail to me a picture of the 993 exhaust system, particularly the heater box assembly!

Thank you.

Hey Robert,

I saw this photo the other day, and I thought of you.

I do not see the connection. Perhaps you could explain.

I believe the connection relates to him beating his head on a wall while it's in what appears to be a carbon fiber bucket . . . you of course being the connoisseur of CF parts.

By the way, any recent pieces?

Robert, you're the king of carbon fiber, always thinking of carbon fiber.

One might even describe you as a carbon fiber head.

The jokes being over, does anyone have pictures of the 993 exhaust system? Thanks.

By the way, in direct response to the question about new carbon fiber parts that would lend themselves to Porsche racing and not be so expensive as to be only practical for a LeMans Prototype:

carbon fiber steering rack housings
carbon fiber engine oil tanks with improved anti aeration (for racing, preferably moved forward for better weight distribution)
carbon fiber/aluminum struts

David:

Frankly, other than for the look, this is a waste of money -- carbon fiber should be used primarily for applications such as racing where its qualities (e.g., stiffness and weight) justify the cost. Further, if you were to use it for door sills, given that it can splinter, I would blend it with Kevlar® so as to add tear resistance.
