I started out with a makita 12v--nice and light, but can't do lugs. I did the breaker bar/spinoff combo for a while, which was a waste of time.
I then bought the big milwaukee 18v (~200/torque), but it was really heavy, and didn't do that great of a job. I returned it.
I really wanted the snap on 18v (the new one) instead of the milwaukee (it wasn't out when I bought the makita), but they're about $420 new. I ended up finding one on ebay for about $300 w/ two batteries. It's my favorite tool. Its lighter than the milwuakee, and is stronger, even though the rated torque is lower. I can't recomend this tool enough. If you use it for a track weekend, you'll never go back.
