Post 993 tiptronic cab yellow/black

I recall a while ago that someone was looking for a tip convertible. I saw one in the Austin American Statesman today with only 24,000 miles and selling for $33,900. You can look on the web site and check it out if interested.

That is very cheap. Without looking, I am guessing that it is that pale yellow that my daughter once described the car as looking like a rotten banana. Just goes to show what a color can do for resale. Unless you like the color, then it's a steal.

That's speed yellow. As they say here on the list - do a search before you shoot off your fingers. BTW - your daughter described a black car.

That car is no longer for sale. I bought it last Saturday. It is Speed Yellow, loaded and absoultly imaculate.

I think I am the guy Jon was thinking of when starting this thread, as I originally posted looking for a cab in yellow, red or Iris. Love both coupe and cab, but after driving both decided that if I could only have one, I prefer the lines and carved-out-of-granite solidity of the coupe.

Anyway, Pastel Yellow was not available in 1995, so without looking we know it is Speed Yellow. Speed Yellow is a much stronger, brighter yellow, pretty close to Fly Yellow, and is a beautiful color IMHO.

BTW I also agree that seems a good price. Congrats Bryan.

I confess, i did not look up the car to see the details to know it was a '95 as there were no specifications in the original post. I assumed that it was pale yellow. IMHO, speed yellow is very cool, pale yellow is not.

Sounds like you got a great car at an outstanding price. Post some pics when you can.

There's a speed yellow/black cab w/ a tip at Premier Cars (www.premiercars.com) - I am not in any way endorsing the dealer but if anyone's interested in the car please send me a private message and I can provide details (I've driven & seen the car).
