I was a part of the first AC jackstand buy, and have been more than pleased with them. I've been using the harbourfreight aluminum jack for a while now, and haven't been too pleased lately, and have had trouble getting my new jackstands underneath the car w/ the 17" lift height of the aluminum jack.
Last weekend I borrowed my neighbors AC DK20 at RRR, and really liked it. It had a higher lift height; enough to work with the AC jackstands, and it was much much sturdier in operation and construction, and it was much more stable. However, it does weigh 65lbs, compared to 37lbs of the aluminum. I've never put together a group buy, so I'm just trying to gauge interest and don't have any idea on what pricing would be.

Frame contact lifts like the Nussbaum Sprinter are not good for 993's.....you won't be able to get at one of the oil filters. There are 5 Sprinters in stock and I'll drop the price to $2500ea for the purchase of all 5. Freight (at around 1500 lbs shipping weight) is a bit on the expensive side. Steve

Kim,
Steve told me last night freight to South Carolina would be about $500. I have a few more question regarding the lift, but I'm not going to purse them unless more people express interest. Also I was thinking $2500. including freight but maybe that's unrealistic.
