Thanks for the info, Steve. Yeah, I had heard that the Mille Miglias were one of the more raucous of the bunch, Fabspeed Supercups notwithstanding.

I have some Dansk mufflers on my car right now and find them to be of high quality and the sound is a little louder than stock. Just another possible choice.

I'm a bit curious to get people's opinions...I'm trying to find something a bit louder than my current Motorsound package but don't want to go to something like the Fabspeed open pipes as I still have aspirations of having some of my neighbors like me.
On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 quietest & 10 loudest), where would you folks place the Monty, Mille Miglia, RSR & GHL mufflers?
'd place the stock exhaust at 1, Motorsound at about 2 and Supercups at 10 - any opinions on where these other options fit?
Thanks.

Rick,

From previous postings, I think people thought the Mille Miglias were one of the loudest ones, although I don't recall GHL being in that comparison. It's one of the reasons I jumped on Randy M's MM's. Maybe someone else can do a better job of remembering.

Just to let anyone else know that might be interested in my GHL mufflers...
They have been sold.

Thanks!

Rick,
I would say the RSR mufflers are a 3.5-4 on your scale. I loved mine and they made a nice growl without every being harsh and had zero resonance.

I too vote for RSRs...there is some variance on the sound. My neighbor's 993 with RSRs is a wee bit louder than mine. But as reported earlier, 0, absolutely 0 resonance.

The Super Cups are loud, very loud, I would love to run them at the track. But on the street, the could label me as "ticket bait". No tickets in a Porsche car ever, in 19 years of pushing these cars around. Damn I have been lucky! Car wise and ticket wise, and a dozen other things I wont bore you with, just plain lucky in general. As has been said by a Fortunate One, "I'd rather be lucky than good!"
