Evan, Still looks great. FWIW I too orderd some. Maybe in time for the weekend.
By the way, do you know the name of that Motel on RT 7, just before you get to RT 4 juction?
Going to Lime Rock for the 20/21st and could use a relitively cheap to crash, and keep the miles off the car & MPSC's.

Interesting... most of you report great results. Hmmm must be doing something wrong.

Did a blind test with TOTMBO (the one that must be obeyed). Did a complete wax of our daily driver (Meguiars) then I did two separate panels as a comparison.

She could not see a difference anywhere and although I knew which 2 panels I had done.. I could not see an improvement either. Only one coat though.

Does the second coat really make a difference???

Evan-

Nice Pix, (yeah the resolution sucks though!!). What I really love are your wheels!. If you get a minute could you PM me to tell me about them, i.e cost, size, weight comparison, etc.

I like my technology wheels but they are a dime a dozen. I really like the HRE's and yours look similar.

Thanks in advance

Monique-

Thank God someone has finally had a different result to the Rejex "miracle". I have not yet tried it so I can't say but MAN....it sounds like the entire Rennlist community is being paid off or something!!

Monique,

I can see how you got those results. As I stood back, I had the same thought. As it looked real good, and easy to apply and take off, was it really that much better? The test will be how long it lasts and how easy it will be to clean the car next time. We will have to see how dirt, brake dust, etc. cleans off. I did notice a lot of "rub lines" on the surface. I had to go back and buff them out again to remove them. I suppose if I washed it again and towel dried it, they may have come right off.

I wanted a real test so here is exactly what I did:

Washed car with Meguiars wash, dried, ScratchX for a couple of new scratches then "Clear coat conditioner and Swirl reducer, then Meguiars Clear Coat Wax.

After all this, I applied RejeX to two separate areas of the car; then waited for my wife to return home.

Car is taken out to bright sunlight... she could not identify either panel. I could not see a difference either. Friends coming for dinner... will ask them too... being objective.

The good news: it does not degrade Meguiars Wait and see.

For one thing, you are not supposed to apply Rejex to a waxed surface, so you will have some decrease in longevity from that. The reason I like it better than all the wax products is that it is SO MUCH easier to apply, and you put it on everything including paint, glass, rubber, and plastic. My car has perfect paint and will shine with ANY product that is properly applied, even the crappiest of cheap waxes.

I put Rejex on the finish 2 weeks ago, but only 1 coat. The result was a perfect finish and shine, just like every other product I have used. The difference is that it took very little time and effort to apply (so much so that I did my wife's Audi A4 as well). I have been caught in the rain twice with my car and it still looks like I just washed it. There are a few small water spots if you really look for them, but I just wiped them off with a damp paper towel.

Just take a couple of seconds to adjust in Photoshop and you can keep the camera. Nice job, looks great.

A further explanation is needed.

B4 doing the RejeX, on the basis of the opinions expressed here, I went and asked the manufacturer for the exclusive European distributorship. So as a measure of the product quality and to ensure an investment would be based on sound results, I did the test described earlier in this thread.

Bottom line: RejeX is not as good as many think. Snakeoil?? I think so. It seems no better than a premium wax.

Huh? Can you elaborate? Snakeoil? Didn't make your car shine? All the people that have posted positive results are hypnotized? Probably by the shine, me thinks.
