Anir, as an aging surfer with way too much sun exposure I've come to know dermatologists and thier little jars of frozen whateveritis...I must yield to your knowledge! But your post made me wonder...
What would be wrong with doing the mild soap and wash and then using a made for humans moisturizer?
Another thing I've seen when I've used Lexol in the 993 was that the stitching turned a darker color and didn't come back to its' original shade.
My 996TT has black seats (they are actually almost a charcoal grey) with light color stitching.

I've wondered about using a bland "human" moisturizing cream, such as the Mayo Clinic-sourced "Vanicream" that we sell at our office ( http://www.daklex.com/cosmetic/vanicream.htm ). It contains no preservatives, lanolin (wool wax alchohol), fragrances, etc. Might be OK. Honestly, I just haven't had the courage to try it on the 993TT, but maybe my wife's aging (and rather neglected) 1994 G20 would be a good test-bed.

I just did the zainobros polish on the outside of my baby.....has anyone used the leather product they offer?......Anir, nice boots, have you driven the p car with them? I live in the horse country of ca. santa ynez, I tried wearing my boots, and stetson...boots got all hung up on those dammn pedels, and, well.....my stetson., just would not fit, with me under it, in the car!, and Of course i just could not bring my self to install a hat rack in my c4s

Anir, thank you!!!! Digging up the archives looking for leather products opinions I stambled accross your recomendations about human skin care.. As I read through your posts I start telling my wife who is half asleep in bed what you said about the human skin knowing that she was lookimg for a product like that...Then through your link I start reading the product info etc. As I talk to her and she is getting into it she says "wait a minute! I thought you are looking at your porsche staff!" I go yeah I do...and she goes with a priceless expression in her face " and you get all that from your porsche site??? !

I use the products you can see here <a href="http://www.liquidleather.com" target="_blank">www.liquidleather.com</a> (no affiliation) they have done a fantastic job of cleaning and conditioning my leather interior.They also do colour matched leather dye for all Porsche colours which is excellent for touching in small scrathes etc.

I've used Autoglym leather care for years and my seats seem to like it. They even smell like "new" once I've given them a feed. For vinyl I swear by STP "Son of a Gun" which I also use for keeping any external trim or tyres nice and original looking.

Yes, I use the Zaino leather cleaner and dressing. Excellent stuff. Easy to apply. Just wipe on and wipe off. Smells nice and works well. Much nicer than Lexol and many others I have tried. Zaino repackages it for sale to many furniture distributors, BTW.
Also, get some 303 Upholstery cleaner. I recently cleaned my carpets and mats that I actually thought were pretty clean. I was shocked!

Einszett cleaner for the plastic and vinyl cleaning in the car, Einszett gummi flege for the rubber door moldings to preserve them, formula 303 for protecting the vinyl and plastic, zaino bros leather cleaner and conditioner for the leather, stoners invisible glass for the windows...
