I would check the rennlist classifieds and ebay.. There is a guy a few weeks ago that was selling pits and pieces of a 993 interior, like the centero console, seats, etc... He may still have them...

Jeff

ps, no affiliation.. just a good memory..

There are plenty of places to find new and near-new parts. I have no affiliation with any of these, but have come across them from time to time.

For carpets, seats, etc: www.worlduph.com

For misc used parts (or perhaps new?): www.einmalig.com

All new parts, mostly right from the p-car catalogs: www.pelicanparts.com

Lastly is LA Porsche Dismantlers. I think the website is www.lapd.com but I may be wrong.

Regarding buying a car with a "messed up" interior, here is my view. If the person did not take care of the interior, they probably didn't take care of the engine. If I were to buy a 993 with a very used interior, I would get two PPI's just to be safe.

Again, hold out until you are happy with what is in front of you. Don't make a quick decision.

You and pretty much everyone else on this board. My wife made me lease my 540 because she thought I was going to trade it in after a year for a diff. car.

Remember, searching for your perfect car is really part of the fun. Anticipation is a good drug.

Hi Silver Bullet,

Have you seen Mark Dadgar's 1997 993 C2S Silver on black? He's located in Los Gatos.

I know him and I went to his place and drove his car. I personally like his car and would have actually bought it if I were able to sell my M3 to a private party.

After a few months, I was just getting tired of interested parties who came and then test drove my M3 and then said that they are not interested anymore (joyriders?) so I decided to trade in my M3 and get a nice C4S from a Carlsen Porsche instead.

I would recommend you to take a look at his car in person if you have a chance since you're looking for one.

Hope this helps,
pin
