Does the 993 have a rev limiter? The other day I got a little too excited and pushed it a bit passed the limit...about 7000K..It felt as though the engine stopped reving just before i shifted..Thank god

All seems fine anyway...just curious

The car will bog down like the fuel was shut off when you hit 7200. My car quits about 200 over the "red line" on the tach. Great feature.
