Techart front bumper
I am trying to find pictures of this bumper on a 993..I did a search but all the links and pics are outdated and no longer avaliable to view. If someone could lead me in the right direction or post some pics that would be great..For any of you out there that have bought this bumper from Rennspeed, how are the quality and fit??
Check out the link in my profile below. I have the Techart orginal. A friend bought the Rennspeed knock off, major body shop prep work to get it to fit. Looks the same but the money you save could go out the window with the prep work needed to make it fit

Techart and Rennline bumpers dont come with the brake cooling ducts as pictured here. The ducts run another 700.00 for the Techart pkg or a few hundred less if you go aftermarket like MA Shaw ect.

One thing to keep in mind, all knockoffs will need to be modified. I dont know of a single vendor that will promise a paint and fit major body part. The Techart bumper was on my car when I bought it, so I dont know for sure that it did not need some work. It should be assumed that unless it is a factory part, modifications will be needed. Some vendors will require work more than others. I know of people who have spent more on body shop work than they paid for the part being fitted. I dont want to keep people from buying a Rennspeed or Better Bodies or MA Shaw part, but no one should assume that it will just snap into place.

You are right Eric, I just installed myself the RS splitters from MA Shaw on my coupe. While the quality seems good they have really nothing to do with the orinigal RSCS splitters on my cab.
Fitment is not exact, I had to drill holes, sand it down for fitment etc. They look good for the race car and its not a major job. It took me less than an hour to do all that. Personally if I was looking to upgrade my street/garage queen car I would only buy original factory pieces. Really the quality is unmatched... I would pressume that TechArt should be upthere on quality as well. At least the TechArt things I have bought are top notch.
