Chris W. - '96 Targa

Just before asking the question on this list a couple of weeks ago, I called Porsche's "customer care" division and asked about production numbers for the 1996 Targa. They called back recently, and here's what I found out:

5 Brazil
484 North America
1919 Rest-of-World
-----
2408 Total

Thanks for the numbers!

I heard that the replacement cost of the glass top is extremely high...no wonder with those limited numbers. I guess we are in an "exclusive" club!

Very nice pictures...I should post mine with the RS wing and splitters. Both our cars are too high though, needs a good PSS-9 or M030 setup.

There seems to be a fair number of Targa owners on the list...I looked up my old post and counted the replies..there are at least 12 Targa owners on the list.
