I used to take mine to Nurburgring, couldn't get it up to full speed at parking lots...

Learned a lot of 993 info here from all of you. Whats a jiffy way to remove loose change from under the drivers seat. The offending stuff is between the dme and floor pan. Any quick fixes besides pulling the seats???

Thanks,

Hey Bob, Been there many times, and yes I could have saved time by taking out the seat, but it's the principle of the thing, what works best is a thin stick, or thick wire, (this is best), wrap some duck tape at the end and turn it inside out making a small ball at the end with the sticky side out. Then go fishing. Don't forget a good flashlight. If you can see the coin, you can get the coin. (Small mirrors in those swivel retractable gizmos work great). After doing this about 3 times, (I always got my coin!) I took out the seats and put some tape and a small foam robber strip in the areas where the coins might rattle to reduce the noise. So now I probably have a few dollars down there, but I can't hear it so I'm happy. Remember... Tape is your friend
