Does anybody have the 993 airbag disabling system they do not want or need anymore??

Thanks Father of 3. I'll look for them. I have three as well, and look forward to the day I get a smile like that from my little girl riding in the TT. She's only 9 mos. old, so it will be a little while. :-)

That's my youngest sitting in the back seat of my car. If you look closely you can see the silver part of my sport seats in the lower left hand corner of the picture.

Well guys, I installled the airbag switch with no problems. My Porsche mechanic was able to install it in about 1.5 hours with no glitches. He said to make the install top notch, he needed to use some of his own supplies, as he felt the connectors that come with the switch are kind of cheap.
We installed it in the glove box, so it is a stealth install like many others on the board have done. I will try and post pictures of it this weekend when I have to get out and take some pics.
For those near Nashville (Greg), my mechanic said he would do the install for $150 total (That's less than 2 hours labor, including his own connectors and pieces).
Thanks for everyone's input and help. This was by far the cheapest, most flexible and best way to go

Why buy into they hype? Airbags are perfectly safe if you keep your kids in a forward facing car seat. The few times its killed a child was when it was in a rear facing infant seat (duh) and when UNBELTED kids were playing up on the dash when the airbag went off, and if the airbag didn't kill them, then the impact from the windshield would have. Just put the seat way back.

Hey Brendan,
If you need a few kids for practice, say for a week or so when we have our beach trip planned, just let me know. I'd be happy to let you borrow them for awhile... ;-)
Texas,
I really don't disagree with you, but got it because I figured with the seat back all the way AND the airbag off, there is little if anything that will hit a little person in the passenger seat. Who knows...
Secretly, I got it so I would have no conscience about letting my little guys (4 and 6) ride up front with me. The world is SOOOOO much more fun through the windshield of a 911!!!
