I always thought the Finns had the best sense of humor in all of Europe.

Oh yeah, Phil McGrath.

Well now . . . maybe you read something into my comments, but I surely never directly said that PHil ever made that post, did I? I just suggested he could be a great person to help ol' Bob7 out. I probably meant because Phil owns so many car dealerships that he could probably find ol' Bob7 a car meeting his description. Yea - that's it - that's what I meant.

What do you need me to advertise? Because I gotta tell you, creating copy for your automatic car-righting system is gonna be tough.

I see a great opportunity to begin re-marketing the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books to a new generation. Everywhere I turn on Rennlist and other car bbs sites I see some smart *** thinking he figured out some great secret of life and/or identification. Lots of five cents detectives out there could probably learn a thing or two from Nancy and the boys.

Now children, this is JUST a car, albeit a great car, bulletin board. It should not be a significant part of your lives. If it is, you need that other Dr. Phil (i.e., not McGrath).

And, incredible to say, posters may not be who they appear to be - they may even prefer to stay anonymous, concealing whatever it is they think others may give a sh*t about or enabling them to act like asses with relative impunity. Some enjoy public debate which recently has involved mostly OT subjects & a smattering of half witted participants. Certainly, many or maybe most posters have different personas in "real life."

But, at the end of the day, when you leave your computer - who cares about all of this nonsense?

Not me.

I often get people pretending to be me.

They only do it once, and then they get put to death. Which is okay, I guess.

"No, I am Spartacus!"

That humor may be a little high brow for this crowd

But I for one love it!

We're not funny and relaxed like a certain other board, but we are sophisticated.

Although that refeerence may be a little old for some.
