Default Center console switch repair

Hello, I wanted to get some information from the community before diving into a repair on my 993's center console switches. I just recently pulled both the upper and lower housings and removed the PCBs and soldered in replacement bulbs and tested them working along with all the switches themselves. Unfortunately, the housings are beyond saving and I am going to replace them with new aftermarket units. The new units do not come with the little visor that outlines the switch icons. I have circled the piece I am referring to in green below:

Does anyone know if this piece is easy to remove from the OEM housing without damaging it? How is it held in place? An adhesive or does it snap in?

Thanks!

Did this a few years back and as I recall, the little visor just pops out (I think it's held in with some small plastic tabs and no adhesive) so relatively easy to remove with no damage.
